EWS Category cetificate Valiadity Paripatra Pdf Download

Everyone knows why the Gujarat government came up with this decision. So I'm not going to speak on that. If anyone is interested in knowing the political angle or feasibility of implementation of this decision you can read Akshay Pawar's answer.
Akshay Pawar's answer to 10% reservation for Economically Backward Class (EBC), Is it good move in Gujarat?
Now, the Gujarat government has said that the reservations will be based on income. We all know how easy it is to fake an income certificate in India. As of what I can estimate, there would be crores of candidates claiming those reserved seats, thanks to the fake income certificates.
Another weird aspect of this decision I found after reading the article in the link present in the question description is that the government has decided to apply this scheme to those earning up to 6 LPA. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think someone earning 6 LPA is economically backward. It might not be a very huge amount of money, but it is enough to meet necessary expenses.
In my opinion, enabling everyone with affordable quality education so that they can compete with others will help the economically backward sections, not these sort of reservations.
The people of this caste get benefit from the Reservation
