73 The fakir said, “O Shethji, I tell you the truth, I have not seen your camel; Then what about the jewels on it? The merchant was furious. but no jewels came out of him. However, the description of the camel given by the fakir was exactly that of the camel of that trader. So why is it that he did not see the camel? Assuming that he had hidden it somewhere in the lure of the jewels above him, the king ordered him to be severely punished.

Hearing the king's order, the fakir said, "Rajaji, have mercy and listen to me first. Really, I haven’t seen a camel. By the way, I have been living in the forest for many years. I have a habit of observing everything. As I was walking in the garden this morning, I saw a camel's footsteps on the ground, but it was not accompanied by a man's footsteps. The leaves of the trees were bitten on one side of the path. From that I figured, the camel should be an eye-opener. One of his steps seemed a little out of place. From that, I guess, it would be a one-legged hoax. "The leaves he cut were hanging in the middle of the leaves." From that I guess, one of his front teeth must have fallen out. Wheat was scattered on one side of his road, and flies were buzzing on the other. From that I guessed that the camel would have loaded wheat on one side and honey on the other. "If a man is sitting on it, don't let wheat or honey fall down." On top of that I assumed that the camel was alone with her master. Going a little farther this merchant met me and started asking about the camel. I told him the description of the camel as above. From above he thought, I have seen his camel, but I do not show him the lure of jewels. But Rajaji, I am right, I have neither seen the camel nor hid it. On hearing this, the king was convinced that the fakir had not really seen the camel or hid it.  He said this from the habit of observing what he said about camels. The king rewarded the fakir and ordered him to leave and praised his observation power.
